The project is designed by DRTAN LM Architect, which had to refurbish what was originally an old, 1970s-style bungalow into a contemporary home with an industrial vibe for a young couple and their pets. A further layer of privacy was provided through the use of a horizontal raw brick wall that partitions off the garden from the gate, driveway and car porch. The eponymous architect also took the chance to landscape the grounds, including a 6m-high retaining wall, to give it a lush feel. The end result is a layered refuge where green dominates and can be enjoyed even from the indoors.
