Inside Minotti's open-air living in Tuscany

Minotti’s PB Farmhouse in Tuscany blurs the line between indoors and out, pairing local materiality with a restrained language of contemporary design.

Set within the rolling hills of Tuscany’s Maremma region in Italy, the PB Farmhouse is conceived as architecture that settles gently into its landscape. Here, the interior spaces extend naturally outward, dissolving boundaries between built form and the surrounding terrain.

Framed by greenery, these spaces foster a continuous dialogue between architecture and nature, enhanced by Minotti’s furnishing solutions that express a balance of forms and understated comfort.

Materiality plays a central role in anchoring the project to its context. The architectural volumes are clad in locally sourced Colombino stone, quarried on site and crafted by hand, while outdoor paving in Santa Fiora stone reinforces a sense of continuity with the region’s material heritage. The result is a tactile and visual coherence that binds the house to its setting.

In the lounge area, which opens onto the pool, the Alison “Dark Brown” Outdoor seating system by Rodolfo Dordoni and Roberto Minotti introduces a composed yet relaxed atmosphere. Its balanced volumes and natural colour palette sit comfortably within the landscape, creating an atmosphere of subtle elegance.

The arrangement is accentuated by the geometric clarity of the Quadrado armchairs by Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27 and the Sunray coffee table by Rodolfo Dordoni. Reflections from the water heighten the sense of calm, lending the space a contemplative quality.

The outdoor dining area, positioned beneath a dark metal pergola, forms the social core of the home. The restrained structure offers a contemporary counterpoint to the rustic masonry, while the Quadrado table by Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27 and Fynn Outdoor dining little armchairs by GamFratesi invite convivial and relaxed gatherings.

Throughout, the project is defined by balance — between architecture, furniture and landscape — resulting in a farmhouse that feels both contemporary and timeless in its approach to outdoor living.

A Dual Presence in Seoul

Meanwhile in Asia, Minotti strengthens its presence in South Korea with a new opening in Seoul, located within the Hyundai Department Store Trade Center.

The showroom complements the existing mono-brand space, making the Korean capital one of the few cities in the world to host two Minotti addresses — underscoring the strategic importance of this market for the brand.

Designed by Minotti Studio, the space presents a curated selection of iconic living and dining furnishings, expressing the brand’s design language in dialogue with the city’s innovative spirit and cultural identity.
